So we're throwing around the idea of doing a @pidgin 2.15.0 for a number of reasons. The full details can be found at discourse.imfreedom.org/t/pidg.

If you'd like to participate, please do it there as I'm likely to forget comments that aren't on the main thread. Yes it requires a login, but it can oauth to github and gitlab.
