#Lammy is in the naughty seat as he has finally cracked and worked out that they really are #WarCrimes. Meanwhile #Starmer grins and palestians have to bear it.

While I knw that some (maybe a few) #Labour MPs condemn the slaughter, I amazed that the Cabinet are prepare to sit back and let the shit wash over them. But then they were appointed after Starmer's coup.

#Pathetic STM & later, AMT, never ran enough service on the DM line tho' what they did run was well-used. Then the provincial gov't of the day gave the entire line, incl the Canadian Northern-built Mount Royal Tunnel to the public pension fund to convert it to a mini-rail system.

IIRC, it's been 5 yrs since the last MR-90s ran in revenue service but there is no mini-rail service in sight unless you are crossing the new Champlain… & it isn't snowing too hard. MR90: dead at 25.

I know the phrase '1st word problem' is a bit of a laff, but this is really scraping the barrel. But then the Gruaniad has become a haven for otherewise ignored 'writers' who otherwise would not be able to afford their baguettes. If it was satire I might appreciate it, but it does not even have the depth, subtelty, imagination or skill to be that.

Biden, Dems Suddenly Realize TikTok Ban Means TikTok Will Be Banned

President Joe Biden appears to be backpedaling on the #TikTok ban he signed last year. His administration is now saying it won’t enforce the law that will boot the popular platform from app stores, which is scheduled to begin on Sunday, the day before he leaves office.

Democrats in Congress have also been working to stave off a ban, despite the fact that they largely supported the ban legislation. Punchbowl News reported on Friday that party members have been trying to get Biden to invoke a provision that would delay the ban for 90 days. “It’s clear that more time is needed to find an American buyer and not disrupt the lives and livelihoods of millions of Americans, of so many influencers who have built up a good network of followers,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said on the Senate floor.
