@lovelylovely how does one get into the driver's seat of that car? #offtopic #shitThatBothersMeForNoGoodReason
@ottaross cool! The Sprague surname features heavily in my wife’s family tree.
It speaks volumes about how much Californians personify their pet birds, that the local veterinarian in Lake Forest, has had to name his animal clinic "Serano Animal AND Bird Hospital".
I have so many questions.

sorry to be off-topic, but Salem 66's 1984 EP is perfect.
mostly known for inspiring Liz Phair, this Boston group never really got the respect they deserved, and broke up after a few recordings.
"pony song" features the perfect put down: "i could lo ve a murderer, but i could never love you"
TV was a million times better in the 1960s.
I could watch this all day.
Let’s chat: “What are you reading?” #OffTopic
So I am preparing dinner and cutting up some onions, while watching YouTube. And I just realized onions really make your eyes water. A lot.
What a hero!
#OffTopic but the two apple trees in our front yard are killing it. This is less than half of what's out there
#offtopic but... A tale.
This is Asher. My 6-year old son's beloved fish tank snail. 19 days ago, he vanished out a small hole where the power cord comes into the tank lid and escaped into the detritus of a child's room.
Last night, while looking for the blue Candy Land piece, we found him in the dirty laundry. I put him in the water and expected the worst. He bobbed lifelessly with the current of the filter. No chance of survival.
Here he is 24 hours later, very much alive. #snailsofmastodon
An obsession of mine is researching how countries handle threats of #food & #water insecurity.
#Germany for example, has secret locations in which it stores legumes, grains & milk powder.
#Finland has 6 mths of grain & fuel & a min. of 3 months of medicine.
In terms of water security, 9 countries in the #MiddleEast will have extreme lvls of water stress by 2040.
But this will also be dire for #Australia, #USA #China & #India.
What do other countries do? Educate me! :)
This is #OffTopic for me, but I need some #advice.
I'll be traveling to the US and Canada in summer 2024 for 2 months, but I will not be on "vacation" from work. I need a solid wifi connection wherever I go.
We'll be visiting some fairly remote areas where cell coverage is spotty at best (the Kootenays, rural Ontario, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan). How in the world can I guarantee a wifi connection in my travels?
Ugh. I reside on #infosec [dot]exchange - which presumably means I'm "Tooting" a lot of infosec content! But folks - I'm burned way the fuck out. I've spent an inordinate part of my Saturday chasing down Sandworm, Kimsuky, and maybe APT28 leads on shit, and I honestly don't care where they lead right now?
I need a fuckin' BREAK. So I'm apologizing for all my #offtopic crap before tonight, and various offtopic stuff after. I just need to reset, badly, as I'm getting to a point where I'm unable to distinguish signal from noise in the cybers. Best to you all
