G’nite tooters. I am absolutely pooped tonight. I thoroughly enjoyed my swim this afternoon & it didn’t feel too much at the time. I managed 2km again & felt great coming home, now though - I’m half asleep & my back is aching. Sometimes I wish I’d never decided to ride my bike to work that day. Today didn’t quite go as planned. Went to pick up 2 granddaughters & the younger one had gone to stay with her other grandparents, so I only had Miss 12, soon to be Miss 13. While we sat up there near the chalet having our picnic Miss 12 said how much she wanted to climb The Horn again. We’d last done it together back in Jan 2021 along with the oldest granddaughter. I wasn’t sure how I’d go, but I was game to try. It was my goal to get back up there last summer after I’d recovered from my fractured spine, then of course I did the damage to my leg. It’s a 1km steep climb up & I did it . It was hard & I had to take breaks but I got up there & I’m rapt. This 72yr old is doing ok, all the hard work has been worth it. #Exercise #Health #Recovered #KeepMoving #NeverGiveUp #SoHappy #LoveMyLife

We were up against inflation. That was our political opponent, but the majority of people focused on Trump or even worse were busy attacking Democrats for some pet peeve so here we are.

We've taken the first step that Russians, Hungarians, Turks, etc. have taken when they first elected their dictators-for-a-day.

The job to make America better has gotten harder, but it's not impossible unless we give up.
