Heather Evans<p>Good morning tooters. It was apparently -2c this morning, but I don’t think it felt like it. At the moment it’s about 6c &amp; heading up to 21, with rain forecast later today &amp; the sky does look quite moody.<br>I would quite like to go for a walk this morning &amp; I think the rain will hold off, I can’t see anything on the radar anyway. Not that that’s always accurate. <br>I am slowly going through different cupboards, moving things, getting rid of the unused. The old bread maker has been pulled out &amp; put in the garage for delivery to an op shop or the recycle shop. I’ll ring them later today to see what they take. I moved a small, very narrow bookcase into the laundry for use in there. diana 🏳️‍⚧️🦋🌱<p>Even an old woman in my 50's can increase strength by working out in the gym at least once a week. I'm starting another weekly fast and exercise binge to force my body to shake off the insulin and produce that needed igf-1 hormone to further strengthen my joints and nervous system. I've found this brutal routine has brought back the most rewarding sleep patterns and vibrant health I've had since a growing teenager.</p><p>I'm stepping up my fitness game. Heather Evans<p>Good morning tooters &amp; it was our first real frost this morning at -1c &amp; it feels like it too 😃. It’s not crunchy underfoot outside though &amp; it’s going to be a beautiful sunshiny day of 19c. Perfect. I am warm enough &amp; have just turned the heater off, but I do have my Oodie on for now. <br>Yesterday I was out of the door by 8.30am meeting up with the friend on the Albury side of the Murray for a walk, one I haven’t done in years &amp; I knew it had changed as I can see glimpses of it from my side of the river. It was a big walk for me, nearly 9km because it’s not always flat but I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a coffee at a cafe at the end of it &amp; then went our separate ways, me to come home &amp; not do much else for the rest of the day 😂. I was pretty tired in the afternoon, I’m fine now though &amp; ready for a new day. Heather Evans<p>Good morning tooters. It certainly wasn’t the cold night of 2c forecast. It was a bit warmer than that. Currently it’s about 10c &amp; the sun is shining but today is only going to reach 17c. Not too bad, quite pleasant actually. I will need to water the garden later though, especially my repotted plants. <br>Time for me to shower &amp; do my exercise class before I head down to@my sisters. <br>I got quite a lot done on my quiet day yesterday including cleaning out my tea &amp; coffee cupboard. Some very old flavoured tea in there from the time when I was making kombucha. Some I sent to compost, but the majority got binned. I’ve also decided my old bread machine can go as it’s just as easy &amp; simple by hand. Heather Evans<p>What a lovely full day I’ve had today. The weather has been absolutely perfect, for me 😄, but it’s heading down to a chilly 3c tonight. <br>I met up with my friend for my planned walk today, it would have been around 11-12km if we’d gone all the way but my friend started to struggle nearly 4km in, so we turned around &amp; walked back. Still it was a very credible walk of 7.8km &amp; I think my friend did really well as she doesn’t walk as often as I do. I felt so good though &amp; was still feeling good when we got back to the car. Then off to Bunnings for more potting mix &amp; some garden edging. The edging isn’t for the garden, it’s for the bottom of the shared fence to block the gap &amp; stop my neighbour from sending anymore than water under fence when he’s hosing his back area. Looking at the edging though, I think it will be perfect for the narrow garden bed I want to build down the side of my unit &amp; easy to put together. I just need some good rains to soften the ground. Heather Evans<p>Such a lovely day today. Thoroughly enjoyed my walk around the river, the water is so low though as you can tell from the photo. I’m feeling so good with my walking again that I’m not missing the swimming so much now. On Friday I’m going to go to a new walk I’ve only explored twice before &amp; never completed it as it’s a long one. I’ll give it a go anyway. <br>After lunch I went to Bunnings &amp; picked up a few things including a new power board that my induction plates connect to as the old one died. It didn’t feel the freezy morning it had been the last few days even though it was only 6c outside, although that could well be because I had the oven on to bake my bread 😁. Currently it’s about 10c &amp; heading to a lovely 24c. I do enjoy these balmy days, it bothers me though. The sun is just coming down the fence &amp; I have 3 crested pigeons sitting along the fence line above the birdbath 😃. <br>My bread is now cooked &amp; sitting on the bench to cool. I’m going to shower soon &amp; then take myself off for a walk around the river. Heather Evans<p>Good morning tooters. It’s a beautiful morning with a little low cloud around. It’s about 10c right now &amp; bright sunshine in my garden - or at least on the fence for now, it hasn’t quite hit the lawn 😁. We’re heading to a lovely 23c. <br>My daughter is coming round for lunch today after she has her flu vaccination at the local chemist &amp; I asked her to grab me a packet of bandaids. I made her favourite minestrone soup yesterday, took a good slice out of my finger in the process 🫤 &amp; the only bandaids I have are so big it makes it look like I cut half my finger off 😁. It’s sore but fine &amp; the soup is delicious, if a bit peppery. I also have my sourdough bread resting in the fridge, but won’t be baking it until tomorrow.<br>Before she gets here I think I’ll do a Les Mills Thrive class, good way to start the week.
