Some old photos of #HideoKojima and some of the crew behind 1998's classic #gaming title that basically defined the original #Sony #PlayStation - one of my fav games of all time, #MetalGearSolid

This is a nice little time capsule of their desks and working environment, nice for any fans of #RetroGaming here :)

33 year old Hideo Kojima, the creator of Metal Gear Solid!
Yoji Shinkawa, the lead character and mecha designer. He created the design of the legendary characters we all know and love today.
The Motion Director, So Toyota. It took him a year to do all the animation and another six months to do the demos. There are over 3000 pieces of animated motion in the game
he assistant director, Yoshikazu Matsuhana, he mentioned that he was most proud of how realistic the guards were and other bosses, "it all felt very real unlike most at the time"

So some absolute genius has discovered you can take the #LEGO set: 31150 (Wild Safari Animals) and turn it into a #gaming icon from #MetalGearSolid - Shagohod

No additional pieces are even required, it just...works?!

I'm still in total disbelief, because I adore MGS as a series, and I'm a true Kojima fan. I hope he sees this, I know he'd love it!!!!

Sorry Konami, but its it hard to find enthusiasm to spend 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 much on a remaster of a game which I can already upscale and HD texture via #emulation

79.99€ for the 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦 is just crazy to me. I understand there is costs in #PCGaming with development time in modern #gaming

But I'm not going to be buying this. What a shame, I was excited to play it on my #SteamDeck at launch, but patient gaming wins again.
