My last #MeMadeMay2025 post is the Sew Over It Lottie dress in Liberty cotton - that’s me done! Have enjoyed #MeMadeMay, mainly seeing the lovely things that other people have made #sewing

#MeMadeMay day 25 - quick wear of a Sew Over It Francine jacket - I love this pattern and this fabric! #sewing
Haven't made a lot of wearables but a few #MeMadeMay
I know clean finishing can be added to most projects but redoing all the seam allowance and changing assembly sequence takes brain power. I would love to find more #sewing patterns that have built-in finishing that *isn't* just serge/zigzag.
Bags, tie-wrap top, weird blue top: self-pattern
Button-ups: Thread Theory's Fairfield
Pants: Ready to Sew's Papao (heavily modified, french seamed)

Me Made May has been a little rocky this year. I knit this pair of test socks as a learning experiment since it's been nearly nine years exactly since I made my last pair, and I didn't have any old notes about my preferred size and construction to reference. They're a bit too short. Also, my cuff gauge got looser, so it sags without ribbing. I did a cute little crochet bubble border at the top, but I may rip out that along with the cuff and heel to extend the body so that these actually fit. It's wild that a pair of calf-height socks used to take me five days to knit, and now I could finish a pair in three or less. It's devastating to know that practice does in fact make you better and faster at something. #MeMadeMay #knitting
#MeMadeMay I’ve finished the Fibre Mood Zarah top - I’m enjoying the big sleeves but this brushed cotton is too warm for the current weather so it might not get much wear until autumn! #sewing
#MeMadeMay day 18 - I’m planning to mooch around at home and hopefully finish making the Fibre Mood Zarah shirt #sewing #memademay2025
Day 17: two piece set of Mira top and Tinsley skirt both by Made For Mermaids.

#MeMadeMay Day 15 and I’m wearing the Sew Over It Alex shirt in Lady McElroy Cobra Corsage fabric, one of my most worn shirts (suitable for work despite snakes, beetles etc.) #sewing #memademay2025
#MeMadeMay day 14 - same outfit as a couple of days ago but with the first Sew Over It Sorrento jacket I made, until it warms up a bit outside #sewing #memademay2025
#MeMadeMay day 12 and I’m wearing Sew Over It again - black corduroy Ava skirt plus a Dana top, made from 70’s (?) fabric from a suitcase in my mum’s attic (my grandma was a keen fabric shopper/ bargain hunter!) #sewing #MeMadeMay2025
Showing off my sweater for #MeMadeMay. It’s the first garment I’ve crocheted that I’ve actually wanted to wear. I quite like it. It’s crocheted in the round so no seams.
#MeMadeMay-ing all over the place with my stretched out, scruffy old favouritest cardigan in the whole world.
I've been planning to make a green one but maybe I need a new yellow one too, this one is definitely a bit worse for (years of constant) wear.
Since someone always asks when I post this, it's the Lorelei Cardigan by Deni Sharpe and yes, you totally need one too

p.s. I would say "this mirror needs a clean" but I've been saying that for at least two years so we might as well just make our peace with it now.
The problem with #MeMadeMay is that most of my me-made clothes are quite wintery, and May tends to be not.
But today it's a lot cooler here so I'm sporting this recently completed #MyPreciousSweater while also knitting on a cardigan that will probably be great for May next year!
This morning we had a delightfully wriggly little visitor, pictured here in a bit of a huff because he wasn't allowed up on the couch. He'll be coming to stay with us for a few days soon so expect LOTS of dog pics and I'm not even sorry.
#MeMadeMay day 4 and it’s a bit chillier, so time to pull my Sew Over It Sorrento jacket out of the wardrobe. This is in a teal needlecord fabric. #sewing #memademay2025
All Muna and Broad #MeMadeMay. Waikerie shirt, Banksia tank, and cropped Glebes (they have pockets with white piping! giant pockets, hold an A5 notebook and it would take more)
The Banskia tank is super comfy, like a bralette you could do starjumps in.
