There is something indescribably traumatizing about watching someone's character, cognition, memory, personality, spark of life itself slowly extinguished over the span of years because we decided collectively to submit to Billionaire Propaganda on #covid19, #masks, & #vaccines.

I am watching what must be similar to seeing a loved one with Alzheimers deteriorate over time, only its 80% of my patients including those half my age.*

*The 20% are saddled with OCD, Social Anxiety, Paranoia, or Cassandra Syndrome

Just a little positive masking anecdote:

My spouse recently asked for a new mask. We use Cambridge Pro and he felt his was looking worse for wear and it needs to be nice for work. Since it was nearing the end of its protection anyway I ordered a new one.

My spouse is not immunocompromised. My spouse is not at high risk. Most of the time I'm not even sure my spouse would believe covid19 was a threat if not for seeing what it did to me.

But my spouse knows masks work because they've been working for us for over five years now. And now my spouse associates a nice looking, well functioning mask with work, which I think is a cool bonus for me.

I got one of those annoying online surveys about my visit to my health centre. But I decided to respond in case I could say what I really wanted to (anonymously). Sure enough, I had the opportunity in a free text field to write about anything that would improve my visit, so I suggested the staff could wear masks as a basic infection control measure 🫤

:boosts_ok: Do you guys have any recommendations for FFP2 masks that would be comfortable to wear for someone with a larger face please?

I regularly use ones from Omnitex because they're more comfortable for me and a lot more affordable, but they definitely don't feel as airtight as others I have tried like the 3M Aura 9320+ or even the Handanhy HY8220. However, these models feel like I need to constantly pull and re-adjust them as they slip over my nose or mouth, and I also have no idea how the top elastic band is meant to stay up on my head… or which way my hair is meant to go lol and I think it may be because of my larger head/face??

I'm waiting to see a specialist. He's going to make my fingers dance! [1] My reminder text said to wear a mask. Sign on the door - no entry without masking. Sign at reception - please wear a mask.

No one - staff, patients, specialist - is wearing a mask, just me. 🤔🙄

[1] nerve conduction test for hands/wrists. Not painful, but unpleasant. My fingers will jerk and twitch under *his* control, not mine. Ick.
