Does anybody actually _use_ #Keybase for anything, or do you, like me, just keep adding new devices to it and removing your old decommissioned devices because you want to keep access to your account on the off chance it might be useful some day.

@dymaxion for some reason my private replies hang not sure which activist-(cyber)security culture handbook community you mean ...I have seen security - in - a - box which seems to hit a sweet spot between technical sophistication and accessibility...generally activist space chatter about "security culture" broadly tends to be a lot of hot air but when it comes to tech there isn't much...just, people learn how to use PIN-not-biometrics on their phone and learn how to use #signal and #keybase and leave it at that. A few people use #protonmail but most use terrible browsers, or think #opera is safe, which it isn't.

Hi 👋

I want to share what I have learned from 5 years of notetaking and help you save your time in your journey of building a knowledge management and #productivity system

THIS IS MY MIND CAPTURED SO FAR 🤯

It's a graph of my #pkm or #secondbrain generated using #obsidianmd (I use #notion too)

I am currently doing a mixup of PARA + GTD + ZETTELKASTEN + (you name it)!

I use #keybase to sync it, keep a version history using #git

👉 Please #askmeanything ! 🤓

Number 3 is the one that folks need to wrap their heads around. Anyone can go an register a domain name (say whitehousegov[dot]net), start their own instance, make an account under any name and add blue check mark.

We can slow this down by advocating for verifiability instead of verification using tools like #Keybase and @keyoxide, which let anyone verify the authenticity of an account.
