FWIW this is not the bridge’s fault. Like, any big ass ship that can’t maneuver through that opening is bad news regardless. Look at the size of the opening at the main span.
If anything there should’ve been protocols for things like this happening and it should not have been a surprise because once a ship that size goes rogue, you already know it’s going to be a disaster.
