I voted for Kamala Harris. I never thought I would be saying that.

In 2016, 2020, and up until a few weeks ago I was a trump supporter. On August 17th I found out I was pregnant. I was still a hardcore trump supporter, but last week I thought I would do some research. I remained blissfully unaware in previous years. I was taught by my family that the media lies and trump knows best.

I don’t know if it’s the pregnancy hormones or what, but I cried. Trump has gone off the rails. This isn’t the future I want for my baby.

Prediction: Kamala wins both the popular vote and the electoral college definitively by Wednesday morning. She gets the majority of the swing states and there will be at least one red state surprise flip. Democrats keep the Senate and add one seat majority. Democrats flip the house and gain 10 seats.

But in the primary they did stuff like Photoshop her off the debate stage for promo ads, the Hill ran a piece about quarterly donation tallies, crowned Pete, mentioned every other candidate & left her out completely even though she had actually beaten Pete that quarter. It must have been so disheartening. When Katie Porter tried to steal her slogan for Warren after Kamala had dropped out me & the rest of #KHive said fuck No! & she backed off. The BS was endless.

A debate promo add with every Dem candidate on the stage but Kamala, at a time when she was still polling in the top 4. The promo caption was WHO’s Leading? In red I photoshopped Who’s missing!

Thus, she can get to 270 with as few as three states – Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — while Trump must win at least four. Damn straight!
Don’t underestimate this moment, it may well prove to be one of the most important turning points in the campaign.

Almost every family in America has someone with “special powers” like Gus.

There’s no way to shortcut the empathy here. To mock him is to be a ghoul.

It’s a conversation that’s long overdue in America.

And yeah, the orange turd is on the record in favor of exterminating folks like him.

What it speaks to more loudly is what his father is modeling. The kind of man that can raise his son like this is the kind of man we need supporting our first woman president in leading the country. (and in no small measure — the free world.)
