In our most captivating episode to date, we spoke with Phillip and Caroline Dennis, two ordained pastors who were in the air nearly 25 years ago while the attacks of 9/11 were happening. Their plane was diverted to a small town in Canada along with dozens of others, a heartwarming tale of humanity and compassion that was captured in the award-winning musical, Come From Away.

@noelreports How many times has America thanked those countries who helped them after 9/11? I'm going to guess zero times, but maybe someone can prove me wrong...

If #Trump comes to #Canada for the #G7 meetings, should we be asking for a thank you for all we did in #Gander and elsewhere across the country to support the #US? Shouldn't every country at that meeting be asking for a thank you too?

The plying passengers with miniatures, the difficulty of calling home, the knowing every inch of the plane, the delay in getting female emergency supply bags…and sadly the racial profiling that took place in the immediate aftermath of the attacks all happened. I witnessed it, along with this incredible sense of calm and kindness that emanated from our unexpected hosts.

The show is set in #Gander, Newfoundland…but I experienced the exact same in #Halifax, Nova Scotia. It captured the nuance.

One day, I was playing around with different blur techniques in #Photoshop, and I came across the spin blur. I thought it might work well for making propellers look like they're turning, so I decided to try it out. This is the result.
