Just come across this Q&A regarding #GPSR on the EU safety gates (Download the Questions and Answers PDF). It confirms that all digital goods (software, etc.) fall under it. Also deals with the Digital Services Act and second hand goods.

Oh boy. Just learned about the new #GPSR safety regulations in Europe. Looks like to continue shipping our stuff to the EU we would need to hire someone there to be our representative. So there’s a good chance we can’t ship to Europe anymore?!?!

Anyone who has gotten familiar with the pending #GPSR requirements -- I found this page that says books are not subject to the GPSR. I haven't been able to find anything elsewhere to confirm or deny. www.spatialglobal.com/news/2024/10...
