A further fungi foray, with another walk in the woods before the weather got too cold (from a couple of weeks back) 🍄.

I explored some different types of woodland and was not disappointed. I've no idea what any of these are, but it was really interesting to find such a variety.

Two large, flat topped mushrooms poking out of some leaves. There are some golden trees in the background. You can't tell from the photo, but these mushrooms were really large (slightly larger than a side plate).
A small, white circular disc, surrounded by brown pine needles and some brown leaves. It has white frills around the edge of the disc. One edge of this strange fungi has started to turn brown and breakdown.
Half a dozen white discs attached to a stick. There are brown leaves and pine needles on the ground underneath. The discs are small, probably only a centimetre or so across.
Some pointy brown mushrooms growing in the dent of an old tree stump. There's a well camouflaged slug nibbling on some of the larger mushrooms near the bottom.

I went for a walk in the woods today. It rained a lot, but there were a lot of mushrooms about 🍄

These are some phone snaps taken in the rain. One of these days I'll get a proper macro lens, although it would probably need to be waterproof the way things are at the moment.

I think the first one might be a sulphur tuft, but no idea about the rest. So if someone wants to chip in an ID, it would be gratefully received.

Some larger honey/brown mushrooms, with wide flat caps, growing out of an old tree. There are some weeds growing around the bottom. Everything is covered in rain, which is reflecting some sunlight.
More brown mushrooms. These are smaller, with pointier caps and growing in clumps of about a dozen all along a moss covered log that's lying on the ground.
