"Students across the United States look to #CommunityColleges for up-to-date training for the increasing number of #jobs in #climate solutions — from electrification, to wind and solar, to energy efficiency, weatherization, protecting water and farmland and more."
At the center …would be the foundation, which would “continue his life’s work in #ForeignPolicy, #CancerResearch, #equal treatment before the #law, preventing #violence against #women & #children, support of #CommunityColleges, & American #veterans.”
…One of the most lucrative temptations was…the paid speech circuit, but #Biden’s circle knew it would risk a hit to his reputation, given the controversy that erupted over speeches HillaryClinton gave to GoldmanSachs & other WallSt groups.

All the donors pulling their $$$ from big universities should start giving to #communitycolleges. There is probably no other institution that has a bigger and more direct impact on their community and on people trying to change their lives. Even a fraction of the money these donors give to universities would be transformative. We are the real change makers in society.
Hi everyone! I know there's a lot of new Mastodon accounts out there so here's another #Introduction post.
I'm an #ArchitecturalHistorian teaching the history of architecture and art at #CommunityColleges in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm also very active in the Society of Architectural Historian (I know our members are on here somewhere ) and love writing about architecture when I have the chance.
But first an #introduction. I’m an academic administrator from sunny Southern California. I work with #CommunityColleges in #HigherEd on #OER, #OpenEducation, #OpenPedagogy, #Antiracism
Hi all, I'm an assistant professor of higher education at Saint Louis University. My research primarily focuses on community college student persistence and success. I consider myself primarily a quantitative researcher and rely heavily on quasi-experimental methods.
