The Great War a.k.a. History Line 1914-18 (German version) was an excellent turn-based strategy game by BlueByte. I am still playing it and can only strongly recommend it

I didn’t expect it to be one of the most expensive German video games ever made, I guess the numerous delays and changes of direction are responsible for that.

With Daedalic out of game development and The Settlers tragedy, 2023 sure wasn’t a good year for German video game studios.
