The amazing Benny (May 2014). He was a "bagle" - a beagle-basset mix, and had the most personality of any dog we've owned. He was adopted, which is why he looked nothing like us.

Seen near the TN / NC border last month. This is part of just one massive pile of logs pulled from the French Broad River following last year's hurricane. The amount of damage to that region is staggering.

Even for a toy camera, these are super grainy photos. Not a bad aesthetic as long as you temper your expectations. If I were to do portraits on this film, I'd stick with the 120 format. #BelieveInFiIm #RetroUWS

It's been a long Tuesday. On a happy note, though, I got the scans today from the roll of Phoenix Color 120 film I sent to Old School Photo Lab. Several are underexposed, but there are a few I really like! #BelieveInFiIm

My first roll of Phoenix film. I'll be shooting it up in New England this week in the elegant FPP Debonair toy camera. It'll be interesting to see how the foliage colors are rendered.
I've removed the roll from the box and wrapper, and put it in a Ziploc bag. Hopefully the TSA agent will be in a good mood, and be willing to do a hand inspection. If not, one pass through a CT scanner should be OK. I'll mail it to the lab before flying back to Tennessee. #BelieveInFiIm
