Until today, my opinion was that Kamala Harris was likely to win the presidency. The main worry, though, was the number of voters interviewed by news outlets who said Donald Trump would be better for the economy, including people who certainly should have known better.

Today, two quotes (one paraphrase) stand out. CBS Radio News at 6 a.m. played a clip of a woman who was intended to represent Hispanic voters. She said that Harris talked mainly about the abortion and not about the economy.

The other is an exact quote from a common saying in the Clinton administration. "It's the economy, Stupid."

The damage to be caused by "Republican" control of the White House, Senate, and Supreme Court is unspeakable. We've got our work cut out for us for 2026 and 2028.

Remember how hard #Kamala #Harris fought for our votes and for the children of #Gaza and how she won primary after primary offering wins for the working class? Wake up, she's as big a #fascist as #Trump and was chosen not elected in any #democratic process. Neither should ever be in office.

The #workingclass will need to educate, organize and mobilize no matter who wins because the #rullingclass is going to keep throwing you under the bus.

CBS Radio News commented on Trump continuing to wander off point and played an audio clip of his talking about his plexiglass shield saying "they" couldn't get him without going through the "fake news." That makes no sense. What he said is the raving of a mind that is getting lost really fast. Donald Trump is showing us on the campaign trail that he is mentally impaired. He is a Crazy Old Man who should not get anywhere near the White House except as a tourist.
