“I 100% understand everybody’s concerns for the parties, the lawyers, & frankly myself & my staff based on what we’ve seen in other cases,” Dist Judge Sarah Wallace said as she agreed to the #ProtectiveOrder.
The order prohibits parties in the case from making #threatening or #intimidating stmnts. Scott Gessler, a fmr #Colorado secretary of state representing #Trump in the case, opposed it. He said a PO was unnecessary because #threats & #intimidation already are prohibited by #law.

Hope you're right, but any action over this is likely to come across as #infringement on #Trump's #FreeSpeech rights.
Judge #Chutkan's rules bar #Trump from disclosing any #evidence he gleans from #discovery, and from making #threatening statements himself.
When one "boosts" a statement by another, there is plausible deniability that one is just drawing attention to it, like "Look at this…" without saying that one agrees with the other's boosted statement
