FediThing 🏳️‍🌈<p>Caught up on some retro film &amp; TV over Xmas, amazing to see a middle-aged Tony Curtis doing what looks like pretty dangerous stunt work himself! The shots where you can see his face are him, and this is pre-CGI so there aren't any safety wires or crash mats being hidden. Insurance etc would never allow this today 😱 </p><p>Curtis wasn't particularly known as an action hero, but in his younger days he was in a film about a trapeze artist, perhaps he picked up some skills there and kept in shape?</p><p>(This clip is from a series called "The Persuaders" from 1971)</p><p><a href="https://social.chinwag.org/tags/Retro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Retro</span></a> <a href="https://social.chinwag.org/tags/RetroTV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroTV</span></a> <a href="https://social.chinwag.org/tags/TonyCurtis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TonyCurtis</span></a> <a href="https://social.chinwag.org/tags/Television" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Television</span></a> <a href="https://social.chinwag.org/tags/Film" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Film</span></a> <a href="https://social.chinwag.org/tags/JoinIn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>JoinIn</span></a> <a href="https://social.chinwag.org/tags/Persuaders" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Persuaders</span></a> <a href="https://social.chinwag.org/tags/ThePersuaders" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ThePersuaders</span></a></p>
