New poster for my Games Room!
This was the cover on the very first issue of GamePlayers magazine I ever remember owning when I was Teeny Selenie!

One of my best scores was back in the early 2000s I was at a tiny flea market in a small town with my grandma and not even knowing what this was, I bought it for $5...
My modest pile of spliced adapters which I've repurposed for old game systems continues to grow.
You can use almost any USB controller, but I wanted a 2nd official one, and the original Evercade VS controller was about $20 cheaper so it was a no-brainer.
Though the red cable sure stands out..!
I set up a TV radio station at my place so I can transmit video to my CRT. Now I can play pretty much any of my systems on my tube TV - seen here playing my new Evercade VS on my analog TV over radio.
Amazon is like my parents calling every system "a Nintendo"
The story of my most annoying evening last night, told in two parts
I decided to try something new with my collection. I'm setting a game out with each system.
It frees up a little space from where I keep all my games, but it also gives the display a certain professional, museum-like quality that I think I'm liking!
I found 2 matching shelves and used them to subdivide some of the cubbies I keep my systems in, in this case the Dreamcast/Saturn and 3DO/Pippin shelves so they look tidy and give me more space in this section of the collection!
Very excited! My copy of Excidium Event for SNES arrived! I even had the Game Designer ( @Robavince ) autograph it for me!
Saturday means post a random game from your collection!
Alright, everything is off my workbench (for now - *knock on wood*) so it was finally my opportunity to take a complete "family photo" of all my heldhelds in one place!
I had to prop up the Lynx on some Game Gear cases though otherwise it was hidden
I was talking about CRT displays recently, and it gave me the opportunity to show off my Rejuvinator!
The tube in my Arcade Cabinet started to die on me about 10 years ago and finding someone who could fix it was almost impossible, hence owning this kickass kit!
Oh man, now what.
Something's wrong with the behaviour of The Odyssey.
More repairs.
More repairs FOREVER.
Another day another unexpected hardware repair...
I was playing my Dreamcast and it started to reset as it got warmer.
I tried swapping the PSU with another one of my Dreamcasts at first, but it turned out the GDemu was warping enough with the heat to weaken the connection to the mainboard.
I redid the connections and tightened it and it's fixed again.
It never ends..
Repairs on my collection are just never-ending, and come when you least expect them, too.
I went to play my WonderSwan this weekend, but spontaneously corroded battery terminals and a loose cart slot kept it from booting up...
Anyways, it's all good once again.
R.O.B. the Robot is sitting on my shelf holding up my Snatcher cart (Hyperflash 32) for my Virtual Boy.
An interesting piece of my collection - this is a Tamagotchi cart for the original Game Boy.
The extra compartment at the top carries a swappable battery and a speaker that makes a sound when you need to turn your Game Boy back on to feed your Tamagotchi!
Does this happen in your collections too? You find a game you own and you swear you've never seen this game before in your life?
I posted Fighters Megamix yesterday, but it was only one of several games that have recently been added to my collection. Here are some others for Lynx, 3DO and Dreamcast.
