Now that they’re more grown up, Kamali’s owner found adopters for four of the #puppies, while the fifth will stay at home. All will be spayed/neutered before going to their new homes–an important piece of controlling animal overpopulation in #NewEngland.

When Kamali came into our ER, it was clear that she would need an emergency c-section, a necessary but often costly procedure that comes with a big risk of infection. Kamali’s family got help from our #Pet Care Assistance fund, and KodiakCare stepped up to cover remaining costs.

Kamali was in labor at her #NewHampshire home for a full day before it became clear that she would need emergency care, so her owners brought her to Angell in #Boston, where they knew she’d get the lifesaving care she and her #puppies needed 1/
