#PopeFrancis was a somewhat controversial #pontiff, but was a consistent champion for #peace on #Earth. He frequently worked to lift marginalized and vulnerable people — and was more welcoming than his papal predecessors.
I hope the next #pope builds upon #Francis' work to care for the sick and poor, and to unite humanity in peace. The Bible teaches we are all created in the image of God — all of us. We are one #human kind, and we should embrace our global #diversity.
