"Electric Pangolins" and "Mammals With Electric Charge" are excellent names for bands.
The Echidna, a mammalian insectivore like the pangolin has electro-receptors in their snouts to sniff out insects (they are quite charged apparently) but as for a pangolin building up charge under their scales and shocking predators like a Pokémon..no.
