I repainted the colors of this oil painting today because the previous shades (you can see it in an older post here) started to feel wrong. They reflected my emotional state at the time, but I also want to strongly bring out the feeling of hope in my paintings; Hopefully it is more visible here, but the message of the artwork is the same: An old woman wondering the state of the world... Stay safe!
