I don't often like to toot about this odious hateful man.

However, I need to give him my thanks.

Its 7 years and 7 months since his awful referendum - Britain's most calamitous collective failure.

And today, I've been invited to a Canadian Citizenship ceremony!!🎉🇨🇦

Thank you Canada!
And thank you Nigel - if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be a valued migrant paying taxes and contributing to a society that welcomes diversity.

How did Suella Braverman ever hold office? So much hatred and determination towards hatred - how do you grow up to be like that? As a teacher, I want only two things for my pupils; one is that they will be forever curious about the world, and the other, most important, that they will care about their fellow man, respect and feel warmth towards them, treating them with humanity. #suellabraverman #toriesout #humanity #MigrantsWelcome #lgbtq

Continued thread

Notable that #SuellaBraverman got all the headlines she wanted yesterday, without a hint of reproach from any of the front pages, including a gushing opinion piece by archcunt Quentin Letts plastered over the whole of the front of the Mail.

Even when they know they’re backing a knackered old pony, even when it has a broken leg and the veterinary tent is being erected around it, the English press are still screaming in support of overt fascism.

Given how high profile this fascist theatre has been, and from what we know of her, it seems almost certain that the decision to evacuate was prevented by Suella Braverman herself. Although it may be that the Home Office culture didn’t require her express decision.

In a sensible system, where the press was not anti-human, she would have been sacked long ago.

However I think we may be heading for yet another “Ah well, nevertheless” moment.
