Some very special words of appreciation for Preston North End FC, who have been most excellent friends throughout. It’s not every club that, at a time like this, opens its doors at Deepdale to receive, comfort and embrace the grieving. Such an immense service that only immense friendship can hope to reciprocate in the future. For now, the only appropriate response is immense gratitude.

That was a really sombre and emotional match to watch, how the players managed to play in it, I will never know, they look shell-shocked.
