My current pencase is very blue. There's space for a notebook but I don't (yet) have a notebook that fits.

Platinum 3776, Opus Demonstrator Blue Whale, Sailor Progear slim Jellyfish, Sailor Shikiori, Pelikan M205, Leuchtturm drehgriffel with a gel pen refill.

Troublemaker Into the Depths

This is a deep midnight blue with dark copper sheen. This kind of sheen is a bit unusual on blues and it's quite striking—this color sheen is usually seen on reds or purples.

I had kind of pegged Troublemaker as a company that makes light multishaders but I guess they have a bit of range as well!

I think this might be good in one of my EF pens.

Picture me, a person who likes #FountainPens, and likes to look at fountain pens for sale online.

I have spent months of my life trying to figure out why in god's name I constantly see listings from Japanese sellers where the title or description includes the word "Snubbull."

Yeah, like the Pokemon.

I finally got entirely fed up and looked up Snubbull's Japanese name.

It's "Buruu." Blue.

THIS ENTIRE TIME THE SELLERS JUST FUCKING MEANT BLUE :GyaradosHeck:

What in the Google Translate hell?

Fountain pens are more environmentally friendly than disposable ballpoint pens, right? But what about the ink I use to refill? I wonder if there's a way to buy ink but use your own inkwell. I just want the ink, not the bottles they come in.

Oh look, another blue TWSBI ECO ("slate blue onyx"). I do like the color (and black nib+accents), but it's also nearly 2x the usual cost of an ECO. So for now it'll sit on a wish list. Gotta save up for Switch 2, eh?

Don't get me wrong, blue is my favorite color and all, but lately it seems like almost every pen TWSBI puts out is blue. Yet there are zero red TWSBI pens in any of the stores I usually check.

@penfount

Yes, absolutely worth the hassle. There is really not much of a hussle.
1) It is better to use a demonstrator (clear body) pen for those inks as shimmer particles will settle on the bottom of the liquid (if you keep your pens in horisontal position than on a pens side) and every time you want to use your pen just move it around a little to put shimmer back into the liquid. Don't shake it hard.
2. For a better flow - medium nibs or larger.

Anyone happen to know if a TWSBI diamond 580 ALR can fill directly from a TWSBI 18ml bottle (without the snorkel)?

I don't have any TWSBI ink to check. I know the Diamine 18ml bottles are too narrow.

Was eyeing an ink sample pack as part of a gift for someone but it would be silly if the pen couldn't fill from the ink.
