#WeatherUnderground will ask me from time to time, how are we doing?
My answer is always good, good, good.
( I'm easy. )
Today's current low temp is a titch lower than the daily forecast. ( Weather station is on site. )
Ah,
good, good good...

#Apple #iOS18 also did away with the old school widgets, so now I can’t quickly see my #SugarMate blood glucose trends, weather with #WeatherUnderground, or toggle my #ProtonVPN (cc: @protonprivacy).
I just reset my network settings in the hope that will stop the iOS from continually trying to melt my phone.

We're in the mid-70's. We're predicted to have 4 days in the mid- to high-80's coming up, starting tomorrow. Then it's back into the 70's. A lot of states and nations are unbearably hot. The oceans drive much of our climate, and they are at record high temperatures, way above all prior years' data. Our region's microclimate is an exception right now.
Please stop voting for the anti-science side. Chicken hawks. Frat boys. Human tax breaks. It's killing us.
I've been off by a day all week. It's logical Friday around here, lol.
The weather? 72 today. 62 tomorrow with 1 1/2"+ of rain. 62 on Tuesday. It's 89 by Friday. The roller coaster is in operation.
We have a pretty mellow springtime week ahead, weather-wise. Daytime temps should range from as high as the mid-70's down into the low-60's. We might wind up receiving 1 1/2" of total rainfall, though most of it is predicted to begin next Sunday and extend into Tuesday. As it's at the far end of a 10-day forecast, we shall see about that.
Well, we shot right past the forecast high. It's 93F out there. 77-ish in here.

It may be the last evening in the low 40's for the next several months, but you never know about #PNW weather.
Is it ORwx or OrWx? Potato, potato?
Brrrrrrrr ATTLEBORO
Mastodon Post
Last evening, a feature on my computer said we were headed for a record low temperature (local record for this date, I imagine. It would not give the source of that information. Does anyone know whether the Brattleboro area actually did set a low temperature record early today? April 25, 2024
At one time way in the past but within living memory (as evidenced by the fact that I remember it), we set what was then a world record for the highest high atmospheric pressure ever recorded.
Weather Underground has a weather station on Orchard Street. So, local weather data at that site really is very local.
PS I just checked. Now my computer is saying TOMORROW morning may have a record low temperature. It still does not say the source of that information.

Okay. It's in the 60's. What's the pollen count?
Pollen: None
IT IS A PACIFIC NORTHWEST SPRINGTIME MIRACLE!
Or the sensor is busted. I'm going with busted sensor.
The peak temperature today as registered at the nearest #WeatherUnderground station was 76.3F.
Mark Nelson thinks we may be in for a week of temperatures in the 60's and low 70's, starting a week from today (Thursday). No one will gripe until we realize all of the plants have entered springtime sexy time and everyone's sinuses explode.
WUnderground concurs.
So last night #Portland was 30F at #PDX, the lowest low so far this month. We could be looking at 65-75F heading into next weekend (not this week, lol) if models hold.
#WeatherUnderground predicts 65F here on next Friday. Way out at the end of the 10-day, so we'll see.
The week ahead, courtesy of #WeatherUnderground, beginning on Tuesday:
Light rain
Rain
Rain
Showers
Rain/Snow
Showers

All highs in the 40's except Wednesday at 51. Lows in the 30's except Tuesday at 42.
1.65" of rain today. 1.11" tomorrow. After that, it is rainy.
It's 37F but #WeatherUnderground predicts the low at 41F. We're stubbornly slow to get rid of the snow. People are still using snow shovels to clear walks and the street is still a rutty, slushy mess. But it is warming, slowly, very slowly near the gorge.
Good news, everyone! It has warmed to 20F outside!
I'm layered up. I'm wearing a skull cap beanie. I need a shave. I look like Scruffy the dockworker. A shower would be nice, but nooooo.
No fractional part. The closest #WeatherUnderground station's live temperature scroller has dropped to an even 10 F, aka -11.67C.
This ends before we reach 0 Kelvin, right? It would give new meaning to feeling "shattered".
The nearest #WeatherUnderground station indicates it is 10.4F, and that the temperature has done nothing but drop thus far today. The wind is in the mid-20's. High gust was 31 mph.
