Okay all you #PHP / #MySQL coders out there. Here is a problem. The corporations control everything.

#TidyBot (#TidySearch) is a full blown search engine. The best part is that it's decentralized. No one server has control of the system. No corporations have control of the system. YOU have control. No JavaScript, no AI. You get what your looking for.

Your here on the #Fediverse so you apparently like the idea of #TakeTheInternetBack from the corporations.

Anyone with PHP8.4 and MariaDB10 want to join and help with building a decentralized search engine??? Its version 0.5.0 and ready for "production" testing.

Why did I start building #TidySearch?

Corporations control the narrative. #MEGA cult and #KingTrump control the narrative. Corporations save and report your searches. Corporations sell you to other corporations. The worst part is all of them are infested with AI.

At the moment, its only indexing just over 100 websites, it IS decentralized, meaning, any computer (just PHP/MySQL at the moment) can send website data to each other. #TidyBot is becoming a work-acholic . The Apache2 logs are only kept for a week at most, will probably reduce that to ONE day
FOUR systems are collecting public data for you to search and I have one more to add to the network. Do you like the #Fediverse? Then you SHOULD love this.

I've been on #Mastodon/ #ActivityPub/ #fediverse since November 2022. As of October 2023 and after months of trying, #beamship is now on the #fediverse!!!

The Beamship computer is only a laptop with a 1T hard drive so, we are keeping it small but it just goes to show all of you that ANYONE can host an ActivityPub server from your house
