Iran continues it’s policy of ‘terrorism first’

BBC staff in London say their families are being “targeted and punished” by the Iranian regime as it intensifies a campaign of intimidation against journalists and media outlets.

There have been more than 20 “threat-to-life” incidents against people in the UK by Iran in recent years, according to the Metropolitan police counter-terrorism commander.

#Russia may have recruited Ukrainian suspect behind Starmer arson via Telegram

Analysis of #Lavrynovych’s social media activity revealed that between 2022 and 2025, he actively searched for work through various Telegram channels aimed at #foreigners in #London. His most recent job-seeking post appeared in the London UA group on May 2, days before a car linked to #Starmer was set ablaze in London.

Once again the Russian state is showing its true colours. They are not taking actions of trying to bring peace between themselves and Ukraine. These are acts of terrorism. Putin is nothing more than a sadistic dictator void of any human decency whatsoever.

This blood libel against #Israel has been debunked and retracted by major news organizations. See screengrab from @BBCNews below.

Yet @QasimRashid on @Gargron #mastodon #fediverse platform is spreading misinformation which is inciting #terrorism in both the United States, #France, #Canada, #Denmark and other countries.

I sincerely hope the FBI is tracking #terrorists and their propaganda promoters and that #Germany #EU recognize the spread of violence in member countries due to social media LYING radicals like Qasim.

I get the anger, I get the rage, but terrorism doesn't work like it used to under a monarchy. #Terrorist was a term started in czarist Russia and they were viewed as heroes. The current government structures are nicely spread out almost no one causes the majority of the blame for bad things happening. The banality of evil, the long chain of responsibility ensures that no one is fully responsible for genocides, unlike in the past when all the evil was squarely on the monarchy.
Because of the PR can spin anything to make you look bad, just like what happened with anarchism in the 1920s when they became synonymous with terrorism which had become a bad term in the US, to the point that anarchism was memory holed to the point that until around 5 years ago, I believed that anarchism was invented in the 70s during the punk movement and I go out of my way learn about obscure history and politics. Sadly because in the past violence there is a lot of agitprop trying to claim that violence works and is essential, especially in terms of self defense, and in some very very very specific circumstances it might, but the majority of all successful change has occurred through non-violent means. Would I choose violence if I thought it would reduce the suffering of others?
Likely, but I can't find times that it does much of anything other than give the news more bad PR against the uninformed voter which makes up a larger proportion of the population. I'd say shooting of the CEO and heads of evil institutions people have no emotional attachment to and have suffered under themselves are the few times violence has any real impact. That said, no one died in this attack, but it will get much more coverage and vilification than all the mass shootings where people actually died

For the first time, French terror prosecutors investigate a murder inspired by far-right ideology.

A man shot dead a Tunisian man and wounded a Turkish man in southern France on Saturday.

The 53-year-old suspect had posted numerous racist and threatening comments on social media before carrying out the attack.

The French National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor's Office (PNAT) has taken over the investigation.
