The <a href="https://mastodon.rhys.wtf/tags/rePebble" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>rePebble</span></a> Core 2 Duo beta shipments are starting and I'm very excited.</p><p>There's no formal NDA but a kind request not to share details of how it runs with the beta software until it's closer to complete, which I'll adhere to.</p><p>There's a firmware dev kit available for it that I agonised over since I want one but know I'd struggle to find time to use, and ordering with it supplies the watch with an open back.</p><p>Maybe a second device in the future if I get into that.</p>

Cool to hear news that pebble is coming back. I had the original and the pebble two as a result of an rma towards end of life of the original.

Great little device still have fond memories. At the time I paired it with a Fitbit and got the whole “why are you wearing two watches?” questions all the time 😂

Eventually moved to the Apple Watch 2nd gen to combine both functions and it was clear Pebble were dying
