I also quite like how the Pluralsight developer productivity study built on our "Getting What You Measure" paper, rephrasing our common metric pitfalls as:
1. We tend to measure things without enough context.
2. We're concerned about the appearance, but not really the meaning of what we've measured.
3. We have not measured enough things.
4. We measure many things, but they do not feel related to each other.

My last #introduction was very underwhelming:
I'm a mid 30's software developer and team lead. I work primarily in backend web development in #dotnet, #javascript and #aws. I prefer to work on #linux and my current distro of choice is #manjaro.
I started as a PHP developer and I've dabbled in many things over the years, currently I'm working at #pluralsight mostly with #nodejs and #graphql on #aws.
I enjoy fantasy #audiobooks, I'm #vegan, a #gamer and a collector of nerd stuff.
Check out my 17th
