We went to see and feel Les Miserables. Because of <a href="https://mastodon.nl/tags/low" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>low</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.nl/tags/vision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>vision</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.nl/tags/disability" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>disability</span></a>, we had the opportunity to have an <a href="https://mastodon.nl/tags/interpreter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>interpreter</span></a> for the <a href="https://mastodon.nl/tags/blind" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>blind</span></a> (not exclusive to ourselves) at the <a href="https://mastodon.nl/tags/theater" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>theater</span></a>. First, we got some radio receivers with headphones to be able to hear the interpreter. Then, we were sent to the actors. They introduced themselves, let us hear their voice and first line in the play, and described their clothing.</p>

Vanwege een <a href="https://mastodon.nl/tags/visuele" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>visuele</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.nl/tags/beperking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>beperking</span></a> mochten wij (en vele anderen...) gebruikmaken van een <a href="https://mastodon.nl/tags/blindentolk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>blindentolk</span></a> van "Komt het Zien!" Ze maken gebruik van kastjes met koptelefoon waardoor de tolk van achter uit de zaal kan vertellen wat er op het toneel gebeurt.</p>
