(via the CA Resiliency Alliance)

Good to see our city council is looking at solving some of the issues with traffic lights going out (significant number of traffic accidents, many with injuries, due to power outages the last few months -- wildfire risk shutdowns)
Just got back the generator I loaned out to an old Scouting friend, due to two weeks of PSPS shutdowns in the neighborhood. They're going to go try to put together their own battery system, so don't have any interesting in buying it or keeping it.
(Loud enough to wake the dead and attract zombies)
Our local paper talks about how much of a hit the shutdowns have been to local businesses. (I mean, better than your town being razed by fire... but seriously). https://www.toacorn.com/articles/businesses-big-and-small-take-huge-psps-hit/ #SCE #PSPS

Love letter from SCE (Southern California Edison)
Unsurprised by this, this is why there is a LiFePo4 battery charging in front of my house right now, LOL.
(Power outages, fortunately, can be managed, better than fires... which are not so easy in wind, as we have all seen).
Let's learn ASL!
(by watching another Public Safety Power Shutoff notice from SCE).
