I have deinstalled #WhatsApp a while ago. However today I found out that my ex-profile does still appear in chat lists of my former contacts. Its not visible to them, that I am not on WhatsApp anymore. They even still can send me messages (who knows where these messages go to...).
Question: is there a way to make my former profile disappearing?
Also I wonder whether Meta still can use my data to do their dirty business.
Any thoughts?
Finished Careless People last night. It’s a really compelling read, continually surprising and horrifying. The author is certainly complicit by her involvement and naïveté, but at least she gave us this view from the inside. Definitely recommend.

*Yes.
-And I'm currently employed as an environmental activist, right?
*Yes.
-So everytime you ask "How's work?" that's now a sensitive and potentially targeted communication.
*Ohhhh.
She got it and is on board now.
The rest of the family might be a tougher ask.
