@globalbc In Ottawa, the #JimWatsonLegacy destroyed a previously reliable, rapid and direct public transport system and replaced it with a pathetically unreliable, less direct and more time-consuming system of light rail train and bus service. Rather than alleviate travel time / costs for citizens, he’s made it so inefficient that car usage has increased. #BreachOfPublicTrust and #OutrightIncompetence.

Oh, yes: “Step into the future of Ottawa's transit system with us.” With unreliable schedules, buses that don’t show up, route cuts, fare increases, LRT breakdowns, unreliable trains that can't handle winter, panels coming loose & breaking b/c snow build up on vehicles, ice causing doors to freeze shut, brakes & bogies that hold the wheels, freeze up…….This is the #JimWatsonLegacy and SNC Lavalin-led Rideau Transit Group.

@canadianpm Sutcliffe wants a vibrant capital city & downtown revitalization. Maybe having reliable public transport would help. Currently #OCTranspo sucks. So better make room for lots of cars.
