Q: What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
A: Pumpkin Pi.
Husband was talking to his friend on the phone, and he had to explain what a Pi Day was, by even mentioning that Pi is 3.14. I then went to grocery shopping, and there were no pies. Just some round coffee cakes. I mean seriously. It's a big marketing opportunity they are missing out on. Come on now.
Or maybe we are in a parallel universe where pi is a completely different number.

3.14
That's Numberwang!
Yes, it's an incredibly busy day in the #Resistance
Lots of protests & contacting MOCs
It's also Purim but never forget every March 14th is also #PiDay
So the question is:
What is your favorite kind of Pi-e?
Mine? Two:
1-My daughters's Pecan Pie
2-Cherry Pie
Yours?

He’s the guy who rounds Pi to 3 because he can’t be bothered with “the fiddly bits.”
“I grew up Reformed Orthodox Pi in my home. I know the value of the sacred number to 365 digits, one for each day of the year. My grandpa was old school. He memorized one more digit every day until he knew all the digits that spanned his entire existence on earth.”
“How was the date?”
“He knows the value of Pi to 96 digits”
“So hot!”
“He wouldn’t make eye contact and doesn’t like to be touched”
“Oh my G’AH!”
“I know, right?”
“So you’re seeing him again?”
“As soon as his anxiety attack finally subsides”
Happy Pi Day to all who celebrate

Visualization of Pi being irrational
Husband came out of anesthesia very quickly. We are back in the hotel room and he’s now nerding out, watching an astrophysics video on YouTube. Good sign. Oh, and, #happypiday #Thanksforwellwishes

Enjoy a piece of pie while you listen to a song of pi. #HappyPiDay
If we take the optimistic #IPCC remaining #CarbonBudget (67% likelihood to limit warming to 1.5°C), and assume that CO₂ emissions are going to continue as they have, we will consume a significant portion of the carbon pie each year and will see 1.5°C before 2030. #HappyPiDay
