In Dreyfus, the French convicted an innocent Jewish officer of treason. In #netanyahu, the French give immunity from prosecution to a credibly accused war criminal.

For the 5th day of #peacepassover2024 (a time of supporting Palestinian and Israeli voices that are seeking peace, liberation, and justice), I made a small donation to the #HostagesAndMissingFamiliesForum, an organization that is advocating for the return of the hostages held by #Hamas, and is speaking forcibly about the failure of the #Netanyahu government to prioritize the liberation of the hostages.

Can someone explain, as my question is genuine, how, if all Abraham's children are Semitic, by defn it seems, then how is it anti-Semitic to criticize Israel's relentless, and endless attack against Palestinians, which many, including me, see as a genocide given the zero-sum tactics, the revenge-driven strategies, and the language & vitriol? Feels like anti-semitism has zero to do w criticism of Israel rn? It's the dead women and kids.

To me it is not even relevant if 3.5 % (using the unproven allegations of 450 out of 13k employees) of UNRWA in Gaza "have ties to Hamas", being Hamas the autocratic ruling party there. Would be weird if it'd be otherwise*.

Nothing justifies starvation of an entire population. Nothing.

* 3.5% of almost any group are nazis or the local equivalent.
