The way you know a core value is core is that by adhering to it, it costs you something.

There is pain, friction, and noise in maintaining first-principles.

We do these things because they are hard.

I’m proud to be an #American, who values the #FirstPrinciples of #republicanism, specifically because there are creepy weirdos out there who find the virtuous ideals of a Republic deeply shameful and threatening.

I am so here for it.

If you’re not flying an #American flag at protests, you’re not virtue signaling nor yelling about the #FirstPrinciples of due process and constitutional rights.

“The U.S. #Constitution protects the right to free speech.

The founding #FirstPrinciples are noble and rooted in #virtue, which was the only thing sons of the #American #Enlightenment valued in the late 1700’s.

Reputation is a function of promise and delivery.

The delivery has fell short since inception.

But the promise?

Huge upside.

At some point, we have to be real with ourselves and acknowledge that you can only #PointAndLaugh at people, calling them hypocrites, IF they have actual #FirstPrinciples.

Unprincipled people don’t have ethics or morals.

They are shameless, spineless, and unhinged.

It’s a whole ethos (pun intended)
