Gesucht wird „Mini“, ein 12cm kleiner #Teddy mit gelbem Strampler. #Mini begleitet ihren Menschen seit 30 Jahren und war das letzte Geschenk seiner Mutter, die kurz darauf starb. Mini wurde am 3. Juni aus dem Café #Einstein Unter den Linden mit einer schwarzen Louis-Vuitton-Tasche gestohlen, in der sie saß. Der Besitzer ist verzweifelt und bietet 1000 Euro #Finderlohn, wenn Mini zurückkommt. Astonishing at how close so many published works came to figuring out the fundamental #nature of #reality, but couldn't think outside the box of their discipline, mostly #physics. Take this paper, which states up front how important #patterns are but then dives into a bunch of physics jargon like spontaneous symmetry breaking (SSB) and never returns:

Why had I not heard of Emmy Noether and her theorems before?

This video is extremely interesting. Though the maths is beyond me I followed the gist. Einstein's theory of general relativity had a flaw. It was not consistent with the conservation of energy. Everyone has heard of Einstein but I suspect not many people know that it was Emmy Noether who fixed this flaw, and in doing so showed that energy is only locally conserved, and that over vast times and distances it is lost.
