"The calligrapher was having issues . . ."

I mean, ok, props to the props department of The Residence for sourcing an oblique pen holder + flexible nib, but I strongly doubt the White House Calligrapher would use the £2 speedball plastic one.

I met a White House Calligrapher once -- Michael Sull. He came to my city to give a Spencerian workshop. He served under Reagan. He hand-made his own pen holders. I bought a couple of them that he was selling. They're good pen holders.

Offering a few more slots of these at the super cheap rate of £25, including worldwide postage.

A short phrase calligraphed on A5 sized white paper, either surrounded by a simple colour-and-gold border of leaves and flowers around a bar, OR the first letter of the phrase larger and ornate with some decorations.

DM me to order one!

rev. queen of pentacles

unwater of earth, manifestation of all stages of the cycle of water.

Following on the page from 18., some new colors have entered the mix.

My question now is, if acrylic paint is one step away from being awkward ink, is a nib therefore the most excellent small round brush? Is a nib the best painting tool for details? Will I make a second pen set reserved for oil paints?
