Please feel free to use this example of a real person, my sister who is 67 and works at her own business and part time as a caregiver---she is on Medicare and Medicaid.
She is exactly one of the people this Big Beautiful Bill will hit hard if her lifeline to Medicare/caid is cut.
I just spent two of the last three nights with her in the ER due to an extremely powerful Trigeminal Neuralgia flare...she lives with this most days, the pain averages several seconds, a few times a day---for the last 17 years.
But this was very bad. Like "a lightening bolt" behind her nose up to the top of her head. I held her hand as a she cried, screamed and moaned in pain, each episode lasting 10 to 15 min.
Neither she nor I can afford to pay for these visits.
