Kansi. Action Comics #484. Ei vuosilukua, mutta on vuodelta 1978. Teräsmies lentää taivaalla puskien edessään autoa yhdellä kädellä. Auton pakoputkesta roikkuu kenkä ja kaksi juomatölkkiä: se on ns. hääauto. Toisessa kädessä on häämekkoon pukeutunut Lois Lane, joka heittää kukkapuskaa kohti katsojaa. Hän hymyilee riemukkaasti kohti katsojaa. Teräsmies katsoo ihaillen Loisia.

Taustalla näkyy kaupunki satamineen, tarkempana yksityiskohtana Daily Star (lehtitalo, jossa Lois ja Clark ovat töissä). Kannessa on vielä tekstit "40th Anniversary issue" (40. vuotisjuhlanumero), peukalonkynsi Action Comics #1:stä (jossa Teräsmies juoksee kantaen autoa) ja teksti (käännettynä): Actionin ensimmäisessä numerossa Teräsmies teki tämän uskomattoman teon (auton kanto), nyt tässä ERITYISpitkässä JUHLAtarinassa hän suorittaa jotain vieläkin vaikuttavampaa: "TERÄSMIES MENEE NAIMISIIN!"

One of the funniest single pages I’ve ever read. The man at the top of the table is Brett Calhoun. As part of some scheme of Luthor’s, he is giving half of his $6 million fortune to the wealthiest man in Metropolis. The folks around the table make their cases why they should get the money.

A long fancy table running lengthwise top-bottom in a rich man’s mansion. At the head of the table is Calhoun. Highlights:

Man who embezzled $350 mil, replaced $347 mil of it, and needs $3 mil more before he gets caught.

The real estate guy who will buy more real estate. “Why? I don’t know! I’m addicted…!”

And the disheveled imposter with no money at all who threatens to kill all the others in the room if he gets the cash..

This *might* be the first instance of magic affecting #Superman. However, since magic is mentioned nowhere else it’s probably just a sign of the times…
