@Conville @FlashMobOfOne @Stoneycase @chopaganda LOL! It was a 2 hour virtual zoom interview during the bye week. Let’s not get carried away with the excuses. They got outplayed and had no answers for Daniels. Plus, for the record Spagnulo took virtual interviews in his bye week and his defense played great and had 8 sacks.

Imagine your boss wants an update on a huge project due in a couple of days and you tell him, "I'll get back to the project right after I do a few job interviews." How is that gonna go over? Interviews should happen after the season is over, that's all.

@vriphish76 @Conville @FlashMobOfOne @chopaganda Johnson interviewed with four teams. So you’re saying each was only 30 minutes with no prep time? I’m offering them somewhat of an alibi! I’ve never liked the NFL’s timetable with these things. Maybe I am over weighting the affects tho. Thanks for the perspective. In coaching terms tho, Spags has forgotten more than Johnson or Glenn know about coaching and game planning.
@Stoneycase @Conville @FlashMobOfOne @chopaganda I just don’t think that had any impact on their coaching last night. I agree I don’t love coaches interviewing until season is over. At the same time it’s also not fair to teams trying to get a top quality coach to have to wait until February to get a single interview. So the solution is they meet in the middle with a zoom interview during the bye week.
@vriphish76 @Stoneycase @Conville @FlashMobOfOne I think there is some truth on both sides. Johnson and Glenn had several interviews and every interview takes time to prepare and digest. But they also had an entire season + two weeks to prepare for last night.
@vriphish76 @Conville @FlashMobOfOne @chopaganda For sure it’s a problem with the system not the Lions. For a 15-1 team playing at home, the Lions made a lot of mistakes. Players and coaches. Commanders made virtually none.
