FeiFeiEach year, on the fifth day of the fifth lunar calendar month, people get together to celebrate "Dragon Boat Festival" - a rather descriptive name for what is known as "端午節-Tuen Ng Festival" in Hong Kong and other parts of Guangdong. The festival takes place in early summer during the Gregorian months May or June, when the scorching heat and humidity force you to pull out the umbrella, literally come rain or shine, and slow down to the speed of a snail. <br> There are many different stories and folk believes surrounding this holiday in China, which is more commonly celebrated in the South. Many times, those spaces seem to replace the living rooms of the locals, offering them a refuge from cramped living quarters.
