Joseph Gruber<p>Serious question - I know there are some folks on Twitter, and I'm sure here, that are involved in <a href="https://josephgruber.space/tags/NWS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NWS</span></a> social media work. Why haven't we seen Mastodon accounts yet? Is it a government thing where it takes jumping through 50 hoops? I've heard a lot over the years from <a href="https://josephgruber.space/tags/weather" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>weather</span></a> folks that there's broad recognition of needing to communicate more broadly via social platforms. So where's the action now? Seems to be a distinct void at this point. <a href="https://josephgruber.space/tags/wxmastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>wxmastodon</span></a> <a href="https://josephgruber.space/tags/wxready" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>wxready</span></a> <a href="https://josephgruber.space/tags/fediwx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fediwx</span></a></p>
