S★m V★rm★Bizarre bug(?) in FCP: dropping a clip into a project that is set to the same resolution and frame rate (1080p/23.98) and the same three frames out of every second are consistently dropped. Almost like one side of the app sees the metadata and plays it back, but the engine fails to render. Solution? Add an effect, in this case a blur, but set the amount to zero. This forces FCP to re-render the clip, and eliminates the missed frames. Cynni's BlogVideo editing with YouCut A video editing app that I use on my phone (Android). A while ago I got YouCut on my phone. I think there are also versions for the PC (though it may be Windows only?) and for iOS. But, as an Android user, I could only test that version. I had some "experience" with very basic editing through Pinnacle Studio on the PC. I always get awesome ideas, for both photo and video editing, but my autistic side likes what it knows, so I often "bounce back" to the things I know how to make that I really love. If that makes sense. 😉 I've started with using the app for simple edits like adding some text and making the vids smaller/shorter. But lately, I have started to play around with more of the options. Am I good at it? Well, I am sure that I suck big time! Will I keep trying to learn more about the app? I know I really enjoy it loads, so yeah, of course I want to get better at it! (as long as my ADHD keeps the interest going... 😇 ).
