bencourtice<p>Sad dawn scene: old farm shed with encroaching suburban development at the other side of the paddock. This is right on the floodplain at Bacchus Marsh. The town is not known for heavy rainfall, more the lack thereof, but floods will inevitably occur sooner or later. They can be havens for native biodiversity and a source of wellbeing and give a degree of food security and self reliance for humans.
