Eugenia L<p>The <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/touchpad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>touchpad</span></a> acceleration on Chromebooks is absolutely ATROCIOUS. It's jerky movements, especially when changing the speed of the cursor mid-movement. It suddenly jumps, or pauses! This does not happen on normal X11 <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> distros, it only happens on <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Google" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Google</span></a> 's <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ChromeOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ChromeOS</span></a>. It's really distracting and I'd never buy a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Chromebook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Chromebook</span></a> exactly because of that reason. Might also explain why ChromeOS's mouse does not work well under <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/virtualization" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>virtualization</span></a>.
